Is Google going the iPhone app store way with Google Glass?

The new guidelines for Google Glass apps have been released for the developers and they seem to be more restrictive than the traditional Google guidelines for other products. Like, controlling the type of apps, no ads can be displayed, or that user data can’t be used for ads. They even can’t charge people to buy apps or virtual goods or services. So, what makes them tow this line?

  •   Privacy concerns
  •   To be less intrusive and allow the medium to establish before monetizing it
  •   Google playing more cautious

What do you think?
